Photo of a two-horse team and what appears to be a black worker clearing the land to extend the Balloon Field at NAS Pensacola taken sometime in August 1922. Trees have been cut down and only the stumps remain and the two-horse team appears to be dragging a plow though it is hard to make out. The date of the photo is etched in the upper left corner. The back of the photo contains a small archival summary and some descriptive information. |
