Manuscript, written letter, 1918 July 11, from Captain Frank R. Marston, Headquarters, 30th Infantry, American Expeditionary Forces, France to "Father, Mother and Sister" [Mrs. Frank A. Marston, Pensacola, Florida]. He mentions his new position as personnel officer for the regiment, the unrelenting paperwork and payroll verifications; notes lack of fighting but constant exchanges of bombardment at night; hopes to get leave to visit Uncle Oliver in England and see some of England and Scotland.
