A Convair R4Y sits in the left of the photo while a Navy band plays in the background on the right. Men work to remove luggage from the plane and were seemingly caught by surprise in the photo. Behind the middle of the banner is Bishop Joseph Aloysius Durick, to his left is Rear Admiral Daniel F. Smith. The back of the photo...
