Marston, Pensacola, Florida], March 28, 1918 (2 pp.) announcing his promotion, that their company (30th infantry) is leaving for the front (Western Europe) and his new address will be the 'American Expeditionary Force, France" and gives code words for future mail (safe, etc.); with three pages typed of orders for training cadets to prepare them for overseas duties (training pages)....

Marston, Pensacola, Florida], March 28, 1918 (2 pp.) announcing his promotion, that their company (30th infantry) is leaving for the front (Western Europe) and his new address will be the 'American Expeditionary Force, France" and gives code words for future mail (safe, etc.); with three pages typed of orders for training cadets to prepare them for overseas duties (training pages). Although the three pages titled "Preparations of 3d Battery for Overseas Duty" are not dated, they are included with this letter as the topic of the letter is that they are leaving for the front in World War I and it appears appropriate in the correspondence.
