Journal for the month of March. Entries are written across two pages and include notes on the weather, persons on watch, absences, as well as tasks and repairs completed at the lighthouse. Tasks included preparing a painting estimate to mail off and normal tasks of lamp cleaning and burner changing. Of note, a squall on the 28th was noted as almost becoming a hurricane. |
