Photo of the Wet Basin at NAS Pensacola taken August 23, 1918. U.S. Navy Coal Barge 214 with an aircraft catapult is moored on the opposite side of the Basin.The largest of the three small buildings at the end of the Basin in front of the Coal Barge is Building 144, used to house engine test stands. The large building with arched windows is Building 38, a machine shop.
