Summary:
|
Photo of Camp Saufley, temporary training camp on Santa Rosa Island, taken August 13, 1918 from the water. Sailors can be seen going about their duties on the beach and in the temporary buildings. Two copies were provided due to quality of the image available, the presence of a date etched in the upper left corner of the first copy, and the presence of a NAS Pensacola Photo Lab stamp on the back of the second, more faded, photo. An archival summary is also provided on the back of the second photo. |
