Summary: | Aerial photo of the Wet Basin taken sometime after May 6, 1918. Hangar Barge One is moored in the Wet Basin as are SC-1 Class Submarine Chasers 336 and 158. Moored at the left entrance to the Wet Basin is US Navy Coal Barge 214 with the affixed aircraft catapult. The building at the top of the Wet Basin is Building 45, general storehouse and office space. To the left of Hangar Barge One is Building 38, machine shop. The small building parallel to the wharf in front of Hangar Barge One and Building 38 is Building 144 which housed engine test stands. | |
