Summary:
|
Sketch of Central Avenue on the Navy Yard, Pensacola created around 1875. The sketch looks south from the Commandant's Quarters towards the water. Three men converse while wandering away from the audience down a path lined with trees. Two cannonball pyramids flank the road which looks textured to be either cobblestone or dirt. Central Avenue ran north-south through the center of the Navy Yard from the Commandant's Quarters on North Avenue to Central Wharf on Pensacola Bay. |
