Three men converse while wandering away from the audience down a path lined with trees. Two cannonball pyramids flank the road which looks textured to be either cobblestone or dirt. Central Avenue ran north-south through the center of the Navy Yard from the Commandant's Quarters on North Avenue to Central Wharf on Pensacola Bay.
