Summary:
|
Photo of the back of the Commandant's Quarters at NAS Pensacola taken in 1917. Notable are the iron bars around the porch and balconies which seem to enclose the entire home. On the roof a worker can be seen towards the center left of the photo and the top of the building has been painted in a camouflage scheme which was used during World War I. The back of the photo holds a stamp of the NAS Pensacola photo lab, a description of the building in pencil indicating it as the Commandant's quarters, and a small archival summary. |
