Letter from T.T. Wentworth Jr. to I. E. Phillips January 16, 1926

- Typed carbon copy of a letter on plain paper, dated January 16, 1926, and addressed from Rev. I. E. Phillips. Signed to T. T. Wentworth, Jr. Wentworth tells Phillips that he has been "working on this matter (keeping U.S. out of the World Court) for several weeks and had sent "resolutions" to both Florida Senators (Duncan Fletcher and Park Trammel). Fletcher had replied he would vote for World Court and Trammel replied that he "would take the matter under consideration." Had also sent both Senators a petition signed by 100 citizens. Relates he will continue to "block this distardly (sic) proposition to intangle our country in the net which Rome is trying to fabricate." See also: 2016.035.0264, 2016.035.0365
