Abstract/Description
1898 photograph of the Woolsey Entrance (north end of East Street) which served as the main and guard gate to the Pensacola Navy Yard until 1932. Guards are posed before the gate and a cannon can be seen just beyond the entrance.
Reproduction of an original 1880 photograph of Building 9 produced sometime in between 1921 and 1922. The back of the photo shows as descriptive information penciled in the bottom left of the photo and an archival summary was provided which gives more context on the history of the building.
