C. has been devoting a lot of time to the Klan and has faced "many perplexing problems," but was making a great success "considering the situation things are beginning (sic) to look gratifying." He talks about plans for a "big open-air meeting for Thanksgiving" and thinks they will gain new members. States the Kligrapp has quit talking about moving the records and that the Klokan committee did not want the documents to be moved. It also talks about some clash due to a father wanting to bring his son into the Klan, but other family members object to this. Reports the local Klan is working on their K-Duo degree "in absolute secrecy" and asks that Phillips not mention this when writing to others unless they have reached K-Duo. It also extends an invitation to Phillips to come over and give a talk.
