Handwritten letter on lined notepaper, dated May 28, 1927, addressed to Ku Klux Klan of Pensacola, signed by Mrs. H L. Whidby. Envelope addressed Ku Klux Klan, Pensacola, Fla. Mrs. Whidby writes that she wants to let women know of the hardships she has suffered. Reports she has been married "about nine years." Mrs. Whidby writes that she wants to let women know of the hardships she has suffered. Reports she has been married "about nine years." States he claims he does this because she had not produced a child, but Dr. Ames says it is not a problem with him that has prevented pregancy. He has threatened her life. She wants the Klan to take him out and punish him for the way he treats her. Gives her address on East Right Street, may be 810 E. Wright.
