The letter tells Williamson he has been appointed to a publicity committee and his assignment is to "preserve a record of adverse publicity in the local papers." Williamson was directed to articles from the two Pensacola papers (Pensacola Journal and Pensacola News), to "attach the name of the paper and the date to the clipping and preserve these in a proper way that they will be safe for future use." The letter also asks Roberts to urge any of the men who were not up to date on their dues to pay at least $4.00 to have them up to date through December.
