Handwritten letter, ink on unlined paper, dated July 5, 1927, addressed to Dr. Hiram W. Evans, Atlanta, Georgia. He signed Frank Hilburn. The letter states that Hilburn withdrew his Klan membership in Detroit, Michigan; he now lives in Pensacola and wants to pay his back dues and join the local group. He also states he lost his bid for the City Commission because he would not give the Pensacola Journal a statement that he was not a Klan member and always supported the Klan. In a PS, he says, ...

Wentworth. The letter asks Wentworth to submit a written account of his early experiences with the Klan and send it to the Kourier "to make a collection of them."
