Cutting the ribbon is Mrs. Mollie Sims, mother of Hospitalman 1C Auburn D. McComb. Assisting her is Captain William J. Koressel (Commanding Officer of NAS Saufley Field) and Captain John M. Miller (Chief of Naval Basic Training). Auburn D. McComb was killed in action in South Vietnam in May of 1967.
