Wentworth. The letter asks Wentworth to submit a written account of his early experiences with the Klan and send it to the Kourier "to make a collection of them." The letter is written on letterhead for T. T. Wentworth, Jr., Hardware, Tools, and Cutlery. Addressed to Dr. W. A. Hamlet (sic) and dated August 16, 1927. Wentworth states he has enclosed a check for $2.00 for 40 copies of the August issue of the Kourier Magazines (actual wording is "Fonty Kourier Magazines." It is believed this should be Forty). Wentworth states that "Having a mighty hard fight down here. The Catholics have a boycott on my business, and you know how the Protestants are here....
