Handwritten letter on lined paper, dated March 15,1927, signature may be C. Lewis, but is not clear. Addressed to "Dear Brother." Letter writer is upset that a member of the Klan is considering being best man in a Catholic wedding and the writer wants a note to give to this person "in regards to this matter." On reverse is "R. P. Owens corner Romana & Spring sts.

Letter states a $2.00 check for dues from Klansman J. M. Mobley of Sarasota is enclosed and that Mobley wants a demit to the Pensacola Klan No. 57. Carbon copy of the letter was sent to H. L. Pierce.
