Carbon copy of a letter, on letterhead for T. T. Wentworth, Jr., Federal Bicycle Tires, no date. To Rev. I.E. Phillips, typed signature T. T. Wentworth, Jr. Letter states Chief Joe White was killed in a plane crash and will be buried in Kiopa, Iowa. Asks if the local Klan in Iowa can conduct the service. Research shows that Joe White was a 32-year-old aviation machinist mate stationed at NAS Pensacola. He died on March 31, 1927.

The letter further mentions that as held by Klan 57 of Pensacola, they are against the permitting of people of "whatever faith" from teaching and telling "our youth" things "contrary or derogatory to the facts".

The frame and barge arrived on May 19, 1916 and the installation of the skin and curtain was completed in early October 1916. Dirigible DN-1 arrived in mid-December 1916.
