View of hangars at NAS Pensacola taken between mid-March and Mid-November 1918. At the left is Curtiss R-6, BuNo A-176, which was received on July 3, 1917 and Struck off Charge May 31, 1922. Also at the left is the Curtiss H-12 Flying Boat, BuNo A-722, was received at NASP on March 12, 1918 and Struck off Charge November 16, 1918 with just 339 hours of flight time. Sailors and personnel can also be seen milling about the base.

Aerial photo of seaplane hangars and ramps at NAS Pensacola taken December 6, 1918. The long building to the left perpendicular to the beach is Building 27, known as the Coal Shed. Constructed in 1827, it was originally used to store coal to power steam-engine vessels that moored at the Pensacola Navy Yard. It was later used to store lumber and at the time of this photo used as an aircraft hangar. Curtiss HS-1L seaplanes are parked on the water.

Aerial photo of NAS Pensacola as it appeared in 1916-1917 after the metal hangars 71, 72, and 73 were built to the west of Center Wharf. Tied at Allegheny PIer is the armored cruiser North Carolina (ACR 12), the station ship, which arrived in September 1915. The back of the photo contains a date range for the image as well as information relating the image to a personal collection of one Vice Admiral Gerald F. Bogan.

Photo of western most seaplane hangars on the beach of NAS Pensacola taken on December 6, 1918. The left-most hangar on the lower left housed Squadron 6, the "Wild Rams." Squadron 6 was one of two the navigation training squadrons and flew Curtiss H-12s and H-16s. At the lower mid-photo the small row building was the motor test. At the far lower-right, the hangar painted in camouflage housed Squadron 2, the aerial gunnery training squadron.
