Copy of the British plans for their fort built near present day Ferdinand Plaza in downtown Pensacola dated 1763. The stamp at the top of the sketch reads "Her Majesty's State Paper Office." The reference letters are: A-Governor's House; B-Barracks; C-Powder Magazine; D-Arsenal; E-Chappel; F-Wharf for small boats; G-Guard Houses; H-Hospital.

The name of the sketch, the date (March 25, 1904), and the name of the assistant appear in the bottom right corner. The map is oriented with east on the top. At mid-map, running from left to right is a railroad track with long distance telephone lines along the right-of-way.
