The photo seems to show rough weather and the conditions planes were housed in before metal hangars were constructed. On the back is information penciled in that appears to be dated 1914 which states that two airplanes were housed at the "Navy Yard" along with an archival summary.

Copy of the British plans for their fort built near present day Ferdinand Plaza in downtown Pensacola dated 1763. The stamp at the top of the sketch reads "Her Majesty's State Paper Office." The reference letters are: A-Governor's House; B-Barracks; C-Powder Magazine; D-Arsenal; E-Chappel; F-Wharf for small boats; G-Guard Houses; H-Hospital.

Postcard of sailors in the "Solo Coffin" crash boat in motion on Pensacola Bay taken sometime in 1918. The back of the postcard contains the address to Rox Photo Shop, unknown if this was the photographer or simply printed the post card. The back also contains an archival summary detailing that the name "Solo Coffin" was given to the crash boat due to its nature as a rescue vessel in the case of pilot crashes on the bay.

The photo was printed on post card paper and the back showcases it's intent to be used in such a way. The back also has an archival summary which notes that the photo was possibly taken from the Bulkhead pier.

The sketch showcases the officer's quarters and a man walking down a dirt road while a woman keeps a child out of the way of a racing carriage. The artist's name appears in the bottom right of the sketch but was cut off when the sketch was framed against a white background at some point during it's lifetime. The quarters were built in 1874 in the Italianate style. Three-storied, the tan brick home with a hipped roof and belvedere is encircled by a two-tiered screened veranda. The previous Commandant's Quarters, built on the same site in 1826, was burned by the Confederate Army in 1862. The quarters are on the National Register of Historic Places.

Sketch of Central Avenue on the Navy Yard, Pensacola created around 1875. The sketch looks south from the Commandant's Quarters towards the water. Three men converse while wandering away from the audience down a path lined with trees. Two cannonball pyramids flank the road which looks textured to be either cobblestone or dirt. Central Avenue ran north-south through the center of the Navy Yard from the Commandant's Quarters on North Avenue to Central Wharf on Pensacola Bay.
