Photo of one of the tent camps outside NAS Pensacola taken 1917 - 1918. Sailors wander about their tasks while a few look towards the camera. Camp Bennett was situated on the bay with a few trees was used for 21 day quarantine of new arrivals to ensure no diseases were spread around the men. Work parties maintained the camp's cleanliness. Camp Mustin, located between the Naval hospital and Warrington Beach, was used as quarters for enlisted personnel. It is unknown which camp is photographed...

Photo taken mid-June 1916 showing the unfinished Hangar Barge One floating in the Wet Basin at NAS Pensacola. Building 45 is visible behind the frame. The frame and barge arrived on May 19, 1916 and the installation of the skin and curtain was completed in early October 1916. Dirigible DN-1 arrived in mid-December 1916.
