Mrs. Whidby writes that she wants to let women know of the hardships she has suffered. Reports she has been married "about nine years." The first year was happy, then her husband began to beat her and it has continued to get worse and he now sees other women. States he claims he does this because she had not produced a child, but Dr. Ames says it is not a problem with him that has prevented pregancy. He has threatened her life. She wants the Klan to take him out and punish him for the way he treats her. Gives her address on East Right Street, may be 810 E. Wright. She would like to meet with someone and so she can be sure they understand her situation.

Wentworth, Jr. Letter states Chief Joe White was killed in a plane crash and will be buried in Kiopa, Iowa. Asks if the local Klan in Iowa can conduct the service. Research shows that Joe White was a 32-year-old aviation machinist mate stationed at NAS Pensacola. He died on March 31, 1927.
