The letter states, "You are looked upon as a man on the right side; therefore you are invited to become affiliated (sic) with the Political Unity League" and assures the reader that "it is absolutely (sic)...

Votes have no names attached to them thought eh packet does have Tom Wentworth stamped on the front and T.T. Wentworth, Jr. Inc. on the back. Also contained in the packet are three KKK membership promotion cards named for H. Whitaker, R.C. Wills, and S. L. (Last name indecipherable).

Forrest, Imperial Kligrapp. Letter references letter written to Dr. Hiram W. Evans by Frank Hilburn requesting help becoming a member of the Pensacola Klan. See 2016.035.0324. Forrest contacted Hilburn's original group in Detroit about his status and received a reply that Hilburn was prone to getting angry and quitting the group, then asking to rejoin. The second time they refused his readmission. Michigan Grand Dragon recommended Hilburn not be allowed to join any Klan.
