Typed letter from I.E.Phillips, Grand Dragon, to all Exalted Cyclops of Florida, dated June 2, 1927. The letter relates that a bulletin was issued from the office of the Grand Dragon June 2, 1926, which prohibits any member of a local Klan from endorsing any political candidate more than 6 months prior to the election. The letter directs the Exalted Cyclops to make sure this directive is carried out.

Forrest, Imperial Kligrapp. Letter references letter written to Dr. Hiram W. Evans by Frank Hilburn requesting help becoming a member of the Pensacola Klan. See 2016.035.0324. Forrest contacted Hilburn's original group in Detroit about his status and received a reply that Hilburn was prone to getting angry and quitting the group, then asking to rejoin. The second time they refused his readmission. Michigan Grand Dragon recommended Hilburn not be allowed to join any Klan. Wentworth states he has enclosed a check for $2.00 for 40 copies of the August issue of the Kourier Magazines (actual wording is "Fonty Kourier Magazines." It is believed this should be Forty). Wentworth states that "Having a mighty hard fight down here. The Catholics have a boycott on my business, and you know how the Protestants are here....

Mrs. Whidby writes that she wants to let women know of the hardships she has suffered. Reports she has been married "about nine years."
